Description

"Iron profiles refer to hollow or open steel sections made from iron sheets (typically with ST37 standard or similar) through processes such as hot rolling, cold rolling, or welding. These profiles are available in various shapes, including square or rectangular tubes, angles, channels, pipes, T-sections, and Z-sections, and are used in construction, industrial, and decorative applications based on their type and thickness. Due to their high strength, weldability, and formability, iron profiles are among the most widely used materials in civil engineering projects.

In the construction industry, iron profiles are utilized in building steel frameworks, columns, trusses, railings, doors and windows, and prefabricated structures. In other industries, they are used in manufacturing machinery, vehicle chassis, and agricultural equipment. Light profiles (made from thinner sheets) are suitable for decorative purposes, while heavy profiles (with greater thickness) are ideal for load-bearing structures. The quality of iron profiles depends on factors such as the type of steel, dimensional accuracy, and production method. In Iran, these products are manufactured according to national standards (such as ISIRI) by reputable factories like Mobarakeh Steel, Yazd Profile, and Tehran Profile. To select the appropriate profile, factors such as dimensions, thickness, anti-corrosion coating (if needed), and compatibility with the designed load must be considered to ensure the structure’s durability and safety."
