Ceramic is one of the most widely used construction materials, made from a combination of clay, feldspar, silica, and other minerals. It is shaped and then fired in kilns at high temperatures (approximately 1000 to 1200 degrees Celsius) to achieve high strength and durability. Due to its resistance to abrasion, moisture, chemicals, and temperature changes, ceramics are used as flooring, wall covering, and facade cladding in both interior and exterior spaces of buildings. These products are available in glazed and unglazed varieties, with matte, glossy, or patterned finishes (such as stone, wood, or brick designs) and come in various sizes ranging from 20×20 to 120×240 centimeters.
